Welcome!

Meet the Team!

Hello and welcome to year 6W!

This is our class governor, Mrs Katherine Griffiths; we have a lovely relationship with her and the children enjoy getting to know her and seeing her at frequent events.

Children have been working so hard all year in the lead up to the end of Key Stage assessments. We are all so proud of their achievements; we enjoyed a special treat to The Cow Shed at the end of test week where children had an ice cream - thanks to the PTFA! As you can see there were many smiles around at the end of a tiring week!

The children had a fabulous time at our residential, Whitemoor Lakes. They took part in many outdoor and adventurous activities including: abseiling, canoeing, kayaking and high ropes. Children overcame their fears and had so much fun. The short break away was finished off by a disco where children (and teachers!) danced the night away.

Our wonderful year 6's don't have long left with us at St Teresa's, but we plan on cramming in lots of fun and hard work between now and the end of the school year. Our Creative Curriculum will transport children to the Victorian seaside; we will be looking at seaside resorts around the UK and studying artists who use beaches as their inspiration.

Finally, here are the children sporting their leavers' hoodies which they are now wearing in school instead of their ordinary school jumper - many thanks to the parents for organising these. The children love them!
